Backdating or Forward-dating on Notarized Documents

On occasions I have been asked by the signer or the originator of the document to either backdate or forward date a document for which I am notarizing; this is illegal.  Therefore, I will not make any exception for anyone so please don't ask.  I can lose my commission and/or be fined for doing so.   If the documents I am notarized have the date when it was created or have an effective date on it, this is acceptable.  For further clarifications on this feel free to contact me.
